At least we've got a breather now, but if I've got the timing right we're probably due for some other disaster to happen soon.

I take classes at the community college, actually. But I also work at the art supply store. Paintbrush Kingdom?

What are you up to when I'm not running into you?

i've seen it but i've never been inside.

( because he wasn't really the type of guy who bought art supplies. )

i work at the junkyard. and sometimes go out and have a drink or go out and shoot something.

That's okay. It's pretty hard to miss either way.

Do you have a favorite place to get a drink? It feels like there's a new bar popping up every week.

not really. if it serves alcohol, that's a good place to go.
unless you like a specific type of drink i guess

College kids can't afford to be too picky, either. Usually it's whatever's cheap and does the job.

Some people prefer a quieter drinking experience, though. [ she's including herself in that category. ]

Why do I get the feeling that you and I have two very different definitions of the word "fun"?

so, what's your definition of fun then?

Lots of things. Starting a new art project. Reading in the park. Going to the record store that becomes a karaoke bar a couple nights a week. Hanging out with my friends. The hot pot place has my favorite takeout, hands down.

Well, no one's ever amazing at it.

Though I think your tolerance for bad singing goes up when your blood alcohol level does.

The answer to that is basically the same. Just drinking enough not to care if you're bad.
