i've seen it but i've never been inside.

i work at the junkyard. and sometimes go out and have a drink or go out and shoot something.

Do you have a favorite place to get a drink? It feels like there's a new bar popping up every week.

not really. if it serves alcohol, that's a good place to go.
unless you like a specific type of drink i guess

College kids can't afford to be too picky, either. Usually it's whatever's cheap and does the job.

Some people prefer a quieter drinking experience, though. [ she's including herself in that category. ]

Why do I get the feeling that you and I have two very different definitions of the word "fun"?

so, what's your definition of fun then?

Lots of things. Starting a new art project. Reading in the park. Going to the record store that becomes a karaoke bar a couple nights a week. Hanging out with my friends. The hot pot place has my favorite takeout, hands down.

can you picture me doing something like that?

I can picture you doing the drinking and watching other people.

Well, no one's ever amazing at it.

Though I think your tolerance for bad singing goes up when your blood alcohol level does.

The answer to that is basically the same. Just drinking enough not to care if you're bad.

i would have to drink a lot to do something like that.

The real trick would be to see if yours truly can get drunk enough.

[ given how ridiculously high her alcohol tolerance is these days. and she'd need more in the way of liquid courage to even attempt it. ]
