Our lives aren't even close to normal, but it kind of feels like it is when it's just the two of us.
Maybe we don't have normal all the time, but when we're together it's the closest thing that feels anywhere near that.
[ and she has everything to be grateful for in that, especially given where she's come from. so much of this town feels like the second chance she never thought she'd ever have, and that includes him too. ]
