[ Yeah, he's still kind of getting used to that. Considering his last relationship, such as it was, was all about sneaking around and keeping things quiet, for various reasons. It couldn't be more different with Dana. ]
I know. It's nice, actually.
Our lives aren't even close to normal, but it kind of feels like it is when it's just the two of us.
Maybe we don't have normal all the time, but when we're together it's the closest thing that feels anywhere near that.
[ and she has everything to be grateful for in that, especially given where she's come from. so much of this town feels like the second chance she never thought she'd ever have, and that includes him too. ]
