sometime after the initial werewolf panic, a video will be sent to her fluid. the contents? the setting will be a familiar one, a colorful living room with light blue walls (an interior setup that wouldn't be believed if one could see the outside were it in this video).
it seems to be some bland footage of the couch until a sudden melody is heard, and suddenly two figures appear to sing out the verses. dana might normally recognize them as addy carver and kai parker, but on the screen, they become two deeply melodramatic rock stars, evident in the way they seem to belt out (kai: on key, addy: badly) when the chorus kicks up. there's a lot of flailing (or dancing?) done, along with the use of various cooking utensils to act as microphones, constantly zooming in close to the camera for their respective lines.
if she survives the minutes of footage, she'll make it to the end in which both now heavily exhausted rock stars will fall upon the couch for the final verse, draped on the cushion pillows before finally breaking character, cackling dumb tired laughter before the video finally ends. ]
[ it takes dana a while to respond — not because she doesn't want to, but because she genuinely doesn't know what to say in answer to that. she might watch it a few times before finally calling addy up too to leave a voicemail message, unable to keep the smile off her face throughout.
but she deliberately picks a time when she figures addy will be too busy manning the radio station to answer her fluid, because there's still the matter of addressing what happened between them too and she wants to save that for an in-person apology now that she's not quite so... intense.
she tries to keep her voice super casual, but the nerves sneak in anyway. she's new to all of, well, this and apparently being a werewolf now on top of that means the newness is amplified tenfold. ]
Do I even want to know whose idea that was, or was it a team effort? [ there's a soft, nervous chuckle that tacks on to the end of that question. ] But seriously, though. Thanks. I mean it. That... well, I'm saving it forever, if I can figure out how to on this thing, and... I really don't know what I would do without you. You guys. Both of you.
